WestKoast Adventure Tourism is an adventure travel company operating from Vancouver, BC, specializing in adventure tourism packages. The company offers three travel packages, EXTREME, UTMOST & BEYOND, each unique in its own way and catered for specific customer groups. These packages include activities such as sky diving, kayaking, mountain climbing, trekking, backcountry skiing, mountain biking & unique safari tours.

THE BRIEF

  •  Choosing 1 of the tour packages, fully explore all stages of the concept development process
  •  Identify goals;conduct primary & secondary research
  • Define a target audience & create personas
  • Develop an attention getting concept to communicate key messages about the company & a call to action
  • Create a design that reinforces the concept

DELIVERABLES
A half-page (7.5 x 4.5“) ad that will be used for both digital & print marketing, with a short presentation including design rationale.

RESEARCH & PLANNING

Tasked with developing this package from the ground up, I chose what types of activities, accommodations, etc. this tourism package would include as well as finding a suitable host location.
